Aeria games is one of the best and most popular Asian F2P MMORPG gaming company and has thirteen playable titles and three titles that are currently in beta. The company is in the top five of the best F2P companies along with Nexon and Perfect World. Aeria games has some of the oldest and most popular MMOs as well such as Shaiya and Last Chaos and some of the newer games such as Caesary. Beta Games

1.Kitsu Saga

Kitsu Saga is a new F2P MMORPG with no release date set in sight, but beta sign ups are currently allowed. An ancient evil has recently arisen and a war is expected in the world. There are two nations who must now team up together to fend off this upcoming darkness in an exciting and beautiful world. The game has anime styled graphics and players have a spirit that accompanies them on their journey throughout the game. The world is massive and there is a lot of exploration that can be done by players. The mechanics are unfortunately similar to most other MMOs with only little uniqueness. There are hundreds of quests and some hard tasks to complete though,which will keep players for a while. Kitsu Saga is from the same developers of Grand Fantasia, a successful MMORPG from Aeria Games and if Kitsu Saga follows in its footsteps, this is one game players should hype.

2.Legendary Champions

Legendary Champions is another game from Aeria Games that is set to enter Closed Beta very soon. Applications are still up so don’t waste time. There are two factions that a player must choose from, the Shu and the Wei. Once a player has chosen one of the two, he cannot change his faction anymore. Character customization is a large part of this game and players will get a feel of it during character creations. There are six classes to choose from, each with its own pros and cons and each having specific roles in parties. Combat is very fast paced in this game as players lead their champions into battle. A champion is chosen after character creation and makes a large difference during fights. PVP is another major aspect and there are three different modes. There is capture the flag which is simple to understand, World PVP which is where the factions war and battlefields where specific team battles occur. Legendary Champions could bring a lot of new things to the MMO world and we await its closed beta phase.

3.Dynasty Warriors Online

Dynasty Warriors Online is one of the most highly anticipated F2P MMO titles as it is one of the games of the famous Dynasty Warriors series. MMO gamers are patiently awaiting this action packed title. Closed beta applications are now available. Dynasty Warriors Online is said to be an action MMO where players must choose his/her allegiance and lead it to glory. A corrupt Emperor has ruined Ancient China for many years and one of the factions must stop him. The graphics are amazing and there are massive PVP wars. Tactics is necessary in the game as team fights are constant. PVP is certainly where the game stands out as these constant wars will make the game enjoyable to all. 4.Hello Kitty Online

Hello Kitty Online is a casual F2P MMORPG from Aeria games that focuses on amusing children more than adults or hardcore gamers. Players in the game will travel to real life locations and interact with friends and some of the characters from the television show. Customization of avatars is a very important part of the game and there are hundreds of outfits and hairstyles to choose from. Connecting with friends is the most important part of the game and this is done easily via a blog both in game and out of the game. There are also friends and email lists in the game. But, there are also quests and tasks to complete while in game and these will give rewards, the ability to improve skills and to access to challengers and areas. Hello Kitty Online is a game that is made for young children and girls so if you are either one of these, try out Hello Kitty Online and maybe you will enjoy it.

5.Latale

Latale is a 2D sidescrolling MMO that is similar to Maplestory. The game has two versions, one from Ogplanet which is the US version and the one from Aeria games, the European version. Latale is a beautifully designed MMO that takes place in the world of Giendia. Players will be able to experience fantasy and science fiction in this epic game. There are a total of twelve classes in the game. There are magic, melee and ranged classes to choose from. Latale has a lot to offer including anime styled graphics, combos for players to try and achieve and a great crafting system. PVP is also a big part of the game and there are battlegrounds where players will compete to be the best. There is also an affection and marriage system which will allow players to get more experience when they are in the same zone. Latale is one of the best 2D sidescrolling MMOs but remember, this version is the European one, so you might experience lag if you live out of Europe.

6.WolfTeam

WolfTeam is a 3D Sci- Fi MMOFPS where wolves fight humans. Players have the ability to temporarily turn into wolves and become stronger and have more health. Humans shouldn’t be worried though as there is a wide array of weapons to choose from. Werewolves cannot use weapons and have no ranged attacks, instead they must come within melee range and attack their enemies, but their strikes are faster and much stronger. The ability to switch from human to wolf is one of the many features that sets WolfTeam apart from the other shooters. There are different game modes including 8 vs 8 deathmatch mode and fifteen different maps to choose from. WolfTeam is a very unique FPS that deserves a try.

7.Dreams of Mirror Online

Dreams of Mirror Online or DOMO is an anime styled MMORPG from Aeria Games that is based on Chinese Mythology. There are four different races or factions to choose from, each having its own starting area. The game’s graphics are very well detailed and are nice on the eyes. There are a total of ten classes to choose from and each class will begin at level 10, until then, players will be a commoner with no real skills. Some of the classes are unique to DOMO such as Merchant, Dancer, Fencer and Musician. The other classes are the basic classes like the healer, warrior and shaman. DOMO has a lot to offer in terms of features including extensive customization, a well designed crafting system and a great pet system. All of these features add up to make DOMO a really enjoyable F2P MMORPG.

8.Kingdom Heroes

Kingdom Heroes is a recently release F2P MMORPG by Aeria games that is based on Chinese Mythology and has three warring nations, the Shu, the Wei and the Wu. Each nation owns a special part of the land that Kingdom Heroes takes place in. Character creation has a few important steps including choosing from one of the four classes, distributing points accordingly, choosing a build and changing the appearance of your character. One unique feature of Kingdom Heroes is that players can actually control a miniature army once they have enough rankings. Upon reaching a certain stage in the game, players will be able to go to a special NPC and obtain some NPC soldiers under his or her command. PVP is a big part of this game and there is open PVP between nations, guild wars and battlegrounds. During castle sieges, players will be able to use some of the weapons of history such as the catapult and the battering ram. Kingdom Heroes is a must try MMO as it really has a lot of unique features in the PVP area of the game.

9.Twelve Sky 2

Twelve Sky 2 is a successful sequel to the original Twelve Sky which flourished in its time as an MMO. The sequel continues the storyline of Twelve Sky and adds more depth to it along with some other new features. There are four playable factions each with its pros and cons and each having a special weapon type. Gameplay is fast and leveling is easy due to the low amount of experience needed. Players obtain levels extremely quickly because the focal point of the game is PVP. There are many skills to choose from and stat point allocation is an important part of the game. There is also a master and apprentice system where players will earn more experience when his or hers master is online. PVP is where the game stands out and players have the ability to enter battlegrounds at level 10. There is also a faction war system and the dueling system. Twelve Sky 2 is a great sequel and if you enjoyed the first game, don’t hesitate to give this game a try.

10.Shin Megami Tensei

Shin Megami Tensei is based on one of the most famous Animes that have been shown. The game obviously has anime styled graphics and takes place in a post apocalyptic world where there are wars all around. Players will have to opportunity to fight alone or to fight alongside other players in hundreds of quests and boss fights. There is a special type of crafting system called Alchemy where players can mix two items to make one fantastic item or weapon. There is also a unique pet system where instead of animals, players will be accompanied by demons who are tamed during combat. Another good part of the game is the storyline as well as the great cut scenes for speaking to NPCs and during quests. Weapon modification is easily done by using other weapons or consumables. The game offers a lot of character customization even from the early stages. Shin Megami Tensei is probably the best MMORPG that Aeria Games has at the moment and players should try it immediately.

11.Grand Fantasia

Grand Fantasia is one of the best anime styled games in the MMORPG world at the moment and is heavily quest based. Players begin their journey in Saphael as a level 1 character and must fight their way up to the level cap. There are 4 different classes but there is specialization at 5,10 and 15 making 8 classes in total. There is also a unique sprite system. These sprites have the ability to go out and collect items for the player as well as craft items and weapons all on its own. There is a huge amount of mounts to obtain in the game and a great guild system. PVP combat begins at level 31 and ranges from 1 vs 1 duels to 15 vs 15 battlegrounds. Grand Fantasia is one of the best MMOs out right now and has a huge playerbase as well so check it out.

12.Shaiya

Shaiya is one of my favorite MMOs and it is one of the oldest MMOs that Aeria games has at the moment. The game is a fantasy MMORPG and the storyline is where two nations, one of light and one of darkness are in war. There are four races in total, the humans and elves on the Light side and the Nordein and Veil on the Dark Side. Each race has its own classes adding up to a total of twelve classes to choose from. One unique part of Shaiya is the difficulty modes which are easy, normal and ultimate. Each of these have its own restrictions and Ultimate cannot be unlocked until a player has completed the normal difficulty. There is also a blessing received by Goddesses that will increase stats and experience gain. PVP plays a big part in this game as the two nations war with each other. There is also a death penalty which causes a loss in experience, damage to armor durability and in Ultimate mode, if you die and do not resurrect within 3 minutes, your character is lost forever. These are just some of the risks you must take in the epic world of Shaiya.

13.Last Chaos

Last Chaos is also one of the oldest MMOs that Aeria Games currently owns and I have some good memories from this game as well. There are six classes to choose from each having its own weapon choice, abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Each class also has a specific role in a party, raid or dungeon. The interface is easy to use and well designed. There is an option that allows players to use either the mouse or keyboard controls as well. Upgrading gear is very unique to this game and the more a player upgrades his gear, the more it shines! Upgrading can be done using stones or runes. Pets are important in this game and there are season one pets as well as polar bears, jaguars and pandas to choose from. Last Chaos Episode Two has recently been released and has furthered the storyline and added a raid guide along with new methods of crafting. Last Chaos is a great game that is still being updated on a continuous basis so check out this fantasy MMORPG for hours of fun.

14 Lime Odyssey

Lime Odyssey is a new beta MMROPG that is free to play and micro transaction-financed. This game is developed by Korean gaming company called Sirius Entertainment.

Browser based games

14.Caesary

Caesary is a F2P browser based MMO that was recently added to Aeria Game’s list of MMOs. Caesary is based in the days of the Roman Empire where players will have to build up an empire and become the best in Rome. This game is similar to Evony in the sense that there are building queues, construction times, resource costs and mass battles but the graphics of the game and the community is much better than Evony. In a later stage of the game, players obtain heroes who are special characters that have specific and better attributes. These heroes are usually the head of the army and will lead the player into battle. After completing a quest, players will have the ability to own two or more cities for faster production and larger army capacities. PVP is a major part of this game and players will always be in war with each other. Guilds are important to this game as well as players support each other in wars and other tasks. Overall, Caesary is one of the more up to date browser based games and if your interested in PVP, check out the game.

15.Lords Online

Lords Online is yet another military based browser based MMO from Aeria Games where players strive to build a large empire and create thousands of soldiers. The interface is beautiful, simply and polished, making gameplay a breeze. There are plenty of quests to do as well, which makes earning experience and gold a lot easier. The game also offers many buildings as well as tons of different types of soldiers to create, which allows diversification in the army. The game boasts good quality graphics and an intelligent AI to boot. There is also an in-depth governing system and player controlled combat. Unfortunately, Lords Online feels like too many other browser based MMOs and is not very unique unlike Caesary Online. If I had to choose between the two,i would choose Caesary.

16.Pirate Galaxy

Pirate Galaxy is one of the most unique browser based MMOs as players take on the role of a pilot in space. Players fight against the corrupt mantis corporation in a long line of quests and tasks as you attempt to undermine their efforts of eradicating humans. Players will be able to explore a vast galaxy, steal mantis technology and become a feared player in the galaxy. For a browser based game, the graphics are amazing and the missions are actually engrossing. There are hundreds of ships and weapons to obtain and use in combat. PVP is very fun in this game and tactics must be used to succeed. Overall, Pirate Galaxy is one of the better browser based games in the market today.

17. Age of Khan

Age of Khan is browser-based strategy game that is similar to Aeria Games’s Lords Online and Caesary, but Age of Khan is much like Chinese Three Kingdoms Online. Perhaps this game is souped up by The Aeria Games Team. Who knows.

18. DDTank

DDTank is a casual browser-based online shooter developed by Chinese developer called 7th Road and localized by China-based Heroic Era. This game is published by multiple publishers including Aeria Games, NGames, Yoogames and DDTank is also localized into other languages such as Portuguese, Chinese and many more

Conclusion

Hey guys. Normally, I would give you my top two games but this time,i will give you my favorite game in every category of this overview, Free MMORPG, Browser Based games and Upcoming games. In the Upcoming Games section,i would have to say Dynasty Warriors Online holds the most promise as the series was amazing. In the free MMORPG section, Shaiya is my favorite because it was one of the first MMOs I played and I still enjoy it today. Caesary Online is the best in the browser based section as it offers up great graphics and fun gameplay.
